The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP1A PCB is a Gate Drive PCB manufactured as part of the 1336 PCB series. The Gate Drive PCB is designed and intended for the Allen-Bradley 1336 AC drives. It functions as a spare part for the Allen-Bradley 1336 AC Drives with a Horsepower rating of 7.5 Horsepower and runs on an AC input power of 460 Volts AC. The board is used on the Allen-Bradley drives with Frame B, Series C ratings and upwards. The 1336-BDB-SP1A PCB is a spare part in the level 1 spare part category and it is a part of the AC drive that functions as a power amplifier. The Gate Drive PCB converts the low power signal control to a high-level signal to help enhance the driving and switching of IGBTs. The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP1D PCB comes with 6 different connectors on the surface, which all function as power supplies and help with the exchange of signals and data with the 1336 AC drive series installed boards.
When the users want to replace this Gate Drive PCB, it is usually located slightly under the main control board of the host drive. The operators need to remove the AC drive’s housing as well as the MCB to allow for the dismounting of the Gate Drive PCB. Also, the users must ensure that all the connectors are plugged out and that the screws fastening this PCB to the chassis are removed. There are 2 fuses labeled F1 and F3, and the users must always check whether they are visible on the 1336-BDB-SP1A PCB for an open condition. This Gate Drive PCB is used as a replacement part for the obsolete board corresponding to its part number. It has an approximated shipping weight of 1.3 kilograms.
