sAbout 1336-B025-EAF-S1
The 1336-B025-EAF-S1 belongs to the classic 1336 series of adjustable frequency AC drives. The AC drive is one of many PLC modules solely manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Although newer versions are available, classic drives are still being used in most PLC systems. The 1336-B025-EAF-S1 complies with the standards set by the National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA). The Allen-Bradley 1336-B025-EAF-S1 has 41.0 amps of current output, a sturdy frame with dimensions of 11.13 inches by 8.76 inches by 18.75 inches, and additional support for connecting programming terminals. Among other features, what sets the 1336-B025-EAF-S1 apart is its factory installed serial port connector (S1). The serial port connector allows the programmer to view parameters and make changes if required. The addition of a serial port connector reduces the system downtime because most of the manipulation can be done without switching off the drive. For this purpose, a hand-held 1336-MOD-E1 programming terminal is used. Just plug the hand-held terminal into the 1336-B025-EAF-S1 serial port and adjust the parameters in live mode.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-B025-EAF-S1 has a drive rating code “B” that the drive has a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz and it has 3-phase power. The maximum torque generated by the Allen-Bradley 1336-B025-EAF-S1 is more than 2.26 N-m (about 20 pounds on an inch). The rating code “025” means that users can connect the drive with either 380 Volts AC, 415 Volts AC, or 460 Volts AC power supply. Based on the input voltage, the AC drive generates 27.0 kVA, 29.0 kVA, or 29.0 kVA of output. To maintain the flow of such high voltage, the drive should have 75 degrees Celsius copper wiring and the wire size should be 16 millimeters (6 American Wire Gauge). The 1336-B025-EAF-S1 has a lot of small components, therefore it is absolutely vital to go through and understand the manuals thoroughly to prevent incorrect wiring or other system faults. To install drive components, replace parts and service the AC drive, it is recommended that the power supply be disconnected. Make sure that there is no hazardous voltage left in the drive components, otherwise it could cause serious injury as well as damage low-voltage components.
