The 1326AS-B660F-21-K6 is part of the 1326AS Series of Low Inertia Brushless Servo Motors from Allen Bradley. It has a neodymium iron boron permanent magnet rotors that offers high accelerations, high peak, and low inertias torques. The rare-earth magnet allows faster acceleration. This motor is compatible with Bulletin 1394 Motion Control Systems, also by Allen Bradley. The 1326AS-B660F-21-K6 comes with a rare earth AC servo motor and a voltage rating of 460 Volts AC. It has a 150-millimeter frame size and an IEC metric flange with a keyway; it also comes with a 36.7 N-m holding brake that has a 24 Volt DC coil. This module’s disc-type brake can hold the load at rest, as well as provide braking torque for emergency stops. Keep in mind that the built-in holding brake was not designed as a positioning brake; the integral holding brake is just a parking brake that could hold a stationary load, and should not be used to stop the movement of the motor unless there’s an emergency.
The 1326AS-B660F-21-K6 provides a high output, even with its small motor size. It meets the demanding requirements of industrial motion systems. It utilizes innovative winding technology that provides 40 percent higher torque compared to conventional motors. This module also has improved winding insulation material to prevent heat transfer for better performance. Just like other low inertia brushless servo motors from Allen Bradley, the 1326AS-B660F-21-K6 comes with an onboard memory that retains its identity. It also comes with a communication link that reports identity to the system during startup for faster commissioning time.
