sAbout 1305-AA12A-HAP
The Allen-Bradley 1305-AA12A-HAP Variable Frequency Drive is a programmable AC drive with logically-grouped programs and HMI features for efficient, easy, and convenient control of 3-phase motor speed. It has 2.2KW (3HP) output power, with 12A current, and an output voltage adjustable from 0 to the input voltage value of the drive, at a user-programmable frequency range between 0 and 400Hz. The 1305-AA12A-HAP draws 250mA maximum current from all ports, and it will dissipate 108W of heat when operational, at a drive efficiency of 97.5%. It has a 3-phase input voltage between 200 and 230V AC at 47-63Hz, with its operational range within 180 and 265V AC, also at 47-63 Hz, and it has an input power of 4.6KVA with a power factor of 0.8. The 1305-AA12A-HAP provides control via its 5V contact closure, with configurable inputs, and with a 1W, 10KΩ potentiometer. It has 4-20mA analog input with 250Ω input impedance at a 10-bit resolution, and 100Ω with the control voltage at 0-10V. The drive has 2 programmable control outputs (Relay Output1, and Open Collector Ouptut2), and a 0-10V DC analog output with a load impedance greater than 4000Ω at an 8-bit resolution. The 1305-AA12A-HAP drive’s output uses the sine weighted PWM, and it has a 100Hz incremental rate and a carrier frequency from 2-8 KHz. The drive provides 100% braking torque with an external resistor and it provides 150% overcurrent limiting for 60s and 200% limit for 2s. It offers motor overload protection, over-temperature protection, over and under voltage protection, and output short-circuits protection. The 1305-AA12A-HAP provides easy programming and monitoring, via its programmer and HMI and it can communicate with a PLC or SLC or any other programmable controller by using the optional 1203 communication module. The drive has an operational temperature, ranging between 0 and 50 oC, at a relative humidity of 0-90% without condensation, and it is designed to resist a 1G operational vibration. The 1305-AA12A-HAP has a volume of 210mm x 195mm x 184.1mm (8.27in x 7.68in x 7.87in) with a weight of 4.2Kg (9.2lb) and comes in a standard NEMA 1 (IP30)-rated enclosure.
