sAbout 1305-AA12A-HA2
The Allen-Bradley 1305-AA12A-HA2 is a variable frequency drive with HIM and an analog speed pot for easy speed control of 3-phase induction motors. It has 2.2KW (3HP) power output rating with an output current of 12A and an output voltage that is selectable from 0 to the input value, at 0-400Hz (programmable). The 1305-AA12A-HA2 has a 250mA port load (adapters combined) with 97.5% drive’s efficiency and it will dissipate 108W of heat when operational. It has an input voltage range of 200V-230V AC (3-phase) at 47-63Hz, with 180-265V AC operating range at 47-63 Hertz and it requires an input apparent power of 4.6KVA with 0.8 lagging (power factor). It provides control using its 5V DC contact closure input, with user-configurable inputs, and with 10KΩ, a 10W potentiometer. The 1305-AA12A-HA2 has 2 analog inputs (4-20A, and 0-10V DC inputs) with a 250Ω input impedance at a 10-bit resolution, and a 100Ω impedance at an 8-bit resolution. It has a relay control output (programmable) with 115V AC/30V DC, 5A resistive ratings, and 115V AC/30V DC, 2A inductive ratings, and an open collector output with 24V DC (source) voltage, and a 50mA current. The 1305-AA12A-HA2 has an analog output (0-10V DC) with load impedance greater than 4000Ω at an 8-bit resolution which uses the sine weighted PWM algorithm and with a 100Hz user-adjustable carrier frequency between 2 Kilo Hertz and 8 KiloHertz. It is capable of providing only 50% AC braking without an external resistor, but it can get 100%, with an external resistor. The 1305-AA12A-HA2 is capable of sustaining an overcurrent of 150% for 60 seconds, and of 200% for 2 seconds, and it can provide protection against motor overload. It provides over-temperature protection via an in-built temperature sensor which regulates the drive’s temperature and it is also capable of self-monitoring its DC bus voltage to prevent over and under-voltage. Its ambient temperature, ranges between 0 and 50 oC, at a relative humidity range of 0-95% without condensation, and it is enclosed with an IP30-rated enclosure. The 1305-AA12A-HA2 drive has 210mm x 195mm x 184.1mm (8.27in x 7.68in x 7.87in) dimensions, and weighs approximately 4.2Kg (9.2lb).
